My recent schedule is screwed up already, it's a huge mess of assignments and my "students'" tutorial classes as well. Everyday's schedule is packed and I was working for assignment at school even on weekend. I wish I could have some free time for this week, argh!
Very first time to shoot a documentary, and it's 'bout Central Star Pier.
I have only 15 secs to edit the history and opening part and I cannot gather all the works from my groupmates to composite until the very last minute. Luckily we have some unexpected positve comments from that "Killer" tutor.
It's very pity that the dump arse government has decided to eliminate another Hong Kong herritage because of the urban development!! Star Ferry really means a figure for Hong Kong so as the clock tower, I see no point to pull down such herritage because of the construction for the new road. The government should not only judge whether the pier and the clock tower should be kept by how many years they have been standing here, if this is the main reason, no more buildings in Hong Kong can wait until they reach the age to be seen as herritage. Macau is totally different, and so as the other countries, government try to put more efforts on conserving their own herritage and finding new ways to keep the herritage and the urban development together, while the Hong Kong government is so shortsighted!
I am so upset that the current government is so "money-orientated" and abondon the herritage we have.
It's no point for me, as a tourist to come to Hong Kong to see all those sky-high buildings and modern shopping malls, I can see these thing in other places as well. If I go to a place for travelling, I want to its culture and herritage instead of seeing all those "moulding" new buildings.
It's a pity that I can't go to see the star ferry pier on its last day because of the bloody assignment.I will put out documentary on youtube later (still figuring out how to resize it to not more than 100Mbs....)
More diary to come within this weeks (hopefully... I still have a number of presentations to be done by this weeks, argh!)
